In nature, erythritol is present in vegetables, fruits, mushrooms, and in wines, beers, and soy cheeses. Normally, it is extracted from vegetable sugar. Then it is mixed with water, fermented and crystallized. Once dry, it has the appearance of sugar: small white crystals or powder.

Erythritol replaces traditional sugar. Perfect for cooking, sweetening and baking. Reduce the amount of calories in meals.
It supposes 75% of the sweetness of sugar. Using erythritol in recipes, remember that for every 100g of sugar there are 120-140g of erythritol.
It is not recommended to consume more than 25g a day.
Too many amounts can have a laxative effect.
