But there are risks of genetic type that are undetectable, impossible to avoid through prevention.

The countries in which the test is marketed are Switzerland, Austria, Liechtenstein and Germany, at the head of the heated controversy are the defenders of human rights that are clearly against abortion.

The test for the possible presence of Down syndrome in the fetus is just a kind of simple blood tests replacing amniocentesis, which the manufacturer is statistically more invasive and riskier.

Those opposed to the commercialization of the test considers that this will only increase the number of abortions by denying the right to life.
