The same benefits of our baby bottle, now in a training cup.
The Dr. Brown’s Training Cup offers your baby many advantages:
- Works like our bottles: Unique dual-function valve works much like our baby bottles, eliminating excessive vacuum and making cup spill-proof.
- Easy transition: Your child drinks naturally without hard suction because the valve creates easy flow of liquid.
- Comfortable: The soft-tip spout cap is comfortable for baby
- Promotes gripping skills: Removable handles created to help develop gripping skills.
Use and Cleaning
DISASSEMBLY:
• Unscrew the CAP from the CUP.
• Pull on the silicone VALVE tab to separate it from the CAP.
• Remove the HANDLES (if used).
CLEANING:
• Wash all parts prior to use.
• Always use clean hands and surfaces.
• For initial use, boil all parts for three minutes. Between uses, all parts should be washed individually in hot water with a gentle detergent and thoroughly rinsed.
• Dishwasher safe–top rack only.
• Do not exceed 140°F(60°C) water temperature.
REASSEMBLY:
• Install the VALVE by gently stretching its internal ring over the RETAINER on the underside of the CAP.
• Place the HANDLES (if desired) on the CUP.
• Fill CUP to the desired amount–hot or carbonated liquids are not recommended.
• Screw the CAP fully onto the CUP until the SPOUT aligns with the front–please tighten firmly.
PRECAUTIONS:
• Always assemble the silicone VALVE into the CAP before use. The CUP will not function properly without it.
• The CAP’s spout and vent holes must be free of obstructions.
• Always wash all components immediately after use.
• Do not use with hot or carbonated liquids.
• Due to the risk of hot spots and overheating, use of a microwave is not recommended.
• Avoid overly aggressive cleaning of any parts to prevent damage to sealing surfaces.
• Before each use, inspect all components for wear or damage. Please pay particular attention to DUALFUNCTION VALVE and SOFT-TIP SPOUT.
• To prevent a possible choking hazard, test the strength of the SOFT-TIP SPOUT regularly by pulling hard on the spout while looking for cracks or wear.
• Always use with adult supervision and do not leave child unattended with TRAINING CUP.
• Do not allow child to walk or run while using cup and never use SPOUT as a pacifier or teether.
• Extended contact with milk, formula, juice or sweet liquids may cause severe tooth decay.
• If any component becomes cracked, torn or shows other signs of excessive wear, discontinue use immediately and discard worn or damaged parts.
• Be sure to contact your physician should you have any feeding problems or questions.
